Openjob SpA was formed in 2001. With the goal of growing even by following external paths,in July 2003 it entered into the shareholding structure of Wisequity, a private equity fund managed by Wise SGR. In December 2004, it gave the green light to the expansion project that led to the acquisition of key operators of the sector, including Pianeta Lavoro, In Time, Quandoccorre, JOB (company branch). Openjob acquired Metis in 2011, reaching a turnover of approximately Euro 400 million. The Openjobmetis Group was formed in December of that same year. In January 2013, the acquisition of Corium Srl, the first outplacement company established in Italy.
On 3 December 2015 Openjobmetis S.p.A. was the first Italian employment agency to be listed on the screen-based stock exchange, organised and managed by Euronext Milan of Borsa Italiana, STAR segment, and it is today among the first operators in the italian sector.
In 2018 Openjobmetis acquired 100% of Coverclip S.r.l., now Meritocracy S.r.l., the Italian digital platform for job recruitment, with the goal of embedding and developing Artificial Intelligence in the job recruiting activities and 70% of the capital of HC Human Connections S.r.l., a training company that carries out interventions for the development and motivation of human resources in organizations.
Since January 2020, HC has grown by incorporating Corium, a specialist in outplacement since 1986, to expand the range of services offered, no longer only in the context of change management but also in that of outplacement. In September 2020 Openjobmetis' stake in HC increases to 92,9%.
The synergies identified between the two companies made it possible for both to appear on the market with greater homogeneity and a new cohesion.
Family Care Srl - Employment Agency (equipped with Aut. Prov. Prot. N. 199 of 11/18/2019) has been operational since 1 January 2020, established in October 2019 and 100% controlled by Openjobmetis SpA. of this independent Company and the subsequent conferral of the activities related to the previous Family Care Division by Openjobmetis SpA, represents the natural evolution of the experience gained since 2015 in the search, selection and supply of family assistants (commonly called carers) dedicated to the elderly and people not self-sufficient.
On January 31, 2020 Openjobmetis SpA purchases 100% of Jobdisabili Srl, the company that owns the "Jobmetoo" brand, an online platform specialized in the search and selection of staff with disabilities, which facilitates the meeting of people belonging to protected categories with the world of work and companies.
In November 2020 Seltis, Meritocracy and UNA Forza Vendite became Business Lines of Seltis Hub Srl, the new Openjobmetis hub of experiences, expertise and opportunities in the HR field.
On 9 November Openjobmetis acquired 50.66% of Lyve Srl, a business training company dedicated to insurance companies and banks.
In April 2021 Seltis Hub Srl grows with the entry of the Business Line Jobmetoo.
In May Quanta SpA becomes part of the Openjobmetis Group.
In January 2024 Just On Business SpA becomes part of the Openjobmetis Group.
